Ronald L. Yerger
Ronald L. Yerger, 71, died November 25, 2014, in his Exeter Twp. residence.

He was the husband of Jean E. (Mogel) Yerger, to whom he married on Setpember 3, 1966.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late Leroy and Mable (Sell) Yerger.

Ron was a graduate of West Reading High School in 1961 and attended Albright College.

He was the manager of Letisse Handbags, Reading and later was a financial advisor for AXA Equitable until his retirement.

He was a passionate historian of the Civil War and helped establish the Berks County Civil War Living History. Ron was proud of his many years that he coached and managed his sons' youth baseball teams. He was a devoted Boston Red Sox fan.

His family was most important to him; they will miss his humor and stories.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters-in-law, Rebecca (Snyder) Yerger and her children Ty S. and Tate S.; and Jamnie (Marks) Yerger and her children Jordan M. and Taylor J. He was predeceased by his two sons, Carl D. who died March 14, 2014 and John L. who died July 17, 2011. His two siblings Leroy and Judy also predeceased him.
