Condolence: This is not a memory as I never knew Brad, but his article on the harmful interaction of benzodiazepines and Fluoroquinolone antibiotics saved my life. I was disabled in 2015 by these medications and it took me five years to get a diagnosis. It wasn’t the 14 doctors I saw who figured it out. It was Brad’s article where he mentioned floxies and that took me down the path of understanding and finding the very rare treatment. I am forever grateful for this angel whose biochemistry writing saved my life.
