Condolence: To Ann and her wonderful family....John was such a special man; kind, caring and courageous. He will be missed terribly by many people, but none more than you, Ann. You have my utmost respect and admiration as I've watched you take every single step with him throughout these last eight years. Your loyalty and dedication is a tribute to the love you shared for each other. I wish you, your girls and your grandchildren hope and optimism at this sad time, and that you bask in the beautiful memories he gave each and every one of you. John's soul is dancing in the Garden of Paradise, and you will surely be together again. Love you. Sasha

Condolence: Dear Ann and Family, I was so saddened to hear about John. I know he fought hard for several years as did Jerry. Believe he is now with God and his pain and suffering are no longer. As hard as it may be, family and friends will make his passing tolerable. You are a wonderful family. John will truly be missed by so many.

Condolence: We met the Prendergast's at the Berkshire CC. We never had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with them, however, every time we ran into them at the club we enjoyed talking to them and realized what wonderful people they are.

Condolence: To Ann and her family: The both of us are so saddened bv John's passing. He was a valiant individual who battled so much pain and discomfort and yet he always had a smile on his face and a bubbly disposition. We will miss seeing and talking with him as neighbor and friend. We have only known John and Ann for 8 years, yet the both of you have been warm and comforting during times when we needed a boost as well. Ann you are an angel. John is now in a better place, no more pain and suffering, and with his Heavenly Father. He's in your heart always, as well all of those who knew him. We are here for you. With love, Bob and Rosemarie

Condolence: Oh Ann, what a valiant fight John put up against this disease. In the end, he really has won the war. His courage was remarkable. He has left such a legacy of strength for his family and friends. And now he has won the ultimate prize. No more pain, no more procedures. Just endless joy -- and, hopefully, some golf in heaven. My continued prayers for you and the children. How altered life will be without him near. God bless you all. Floss Lyons Hurley
