Condolence From: Bud Lewis
Condolence: My condolences to the Woodring family for the passing of Woody. I meet him four years ago when I joined the Reading CC. I am proud to have called him my friend. We played quite a few rounds together,and talked about the many things we had in common, love for PSU sports, Eagles, daughters that swam breast stroke, and golf. Woody watched my game, and as he would do, found the thing I needed to improve. That was my putting, and gave me his thoughts as to how it could be improved. He was right, and I have been working on the things he told me since. I played in a scramble before the service today, and made more putts then I ever have. Woody was with me, smiling his I told you so smile. WE ARE all blessed to have been part of his world.

I will miss Ron so much as he was one of those persons that touched the hearts of so many especially me, Since I leaned of his passing I have been flooded with memories of the times I got to play golf with him and how he made me laugh. Even though I wasn't around him as much as others he still touched me and brought a smile to my face. Ron was a truly great person and I am saddened with the loss.
