I will always remember a very special evening when Jim and June welcomed me into their home at the Highlands. We enjoyed wonderful conversation and dinner. Jim shared some of his youthful memories of Lebanon area and life experiences.

Condolence From: Tom Weik

Condolence: Dear June and family,

When I moved into Berks County and, having been active in Rotary,joined the Wyomissing-West Reading club, Jim welcomed me warmly, and we discussed our common Lebanon, PA heritage. His intellect was inspiring, and his friendship was very helpful in my relocation. He sponsored me to become a member of the Torch Club. And, of course, he introduced my wife, Donna, and me to June, who we found exceptionally nice and very much liked. When Donna saw in the paper that Jim had passed away, she said," every time I ever accompanied you to a Torch Club meeting, I looked for Jim. When he no longer attended, I still looked for him and each time wondered how he was. This struck me somewhat like a thunderbolt because I had been experiencing the exact same thing. We already miss Jim. Our heart goes out to June and family.Our sincere best wishes to them.
