Condolence: Eleanor Romanski is my aunt. I just learned of her passing. She would always say that I was the daughter she never had. I am so sad she has passed but secure in that she is at peace. I live in Roanoke, VA, and my visits to her were always special. Aunt Eleanor always took me shopping and we had so much fun. I'll remember her always.

I think they even enjoyed the NYC blackout because it gave them such a great story. I walked past 1407 Broadway just a few weeks ago and thought of Eleanor and June.
