Obituary for Alice B. Kominick (Bill)

Alice B. Kominick, 92, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018, in her residence.

She is survived by her husband, Burton F. Kominick, Sr., who she married June 15, 1946.

Born in Hartford, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Harold J. and Theresa (Manner) Bill.

Alice was a 1942 graduate of Hartford Public High School, attended Rider University until 1945, received her Associates of Arts from Foothill College, Lost Altos, CA, in 1967, and later received a B.A. in English from San Jose State University in 1971.

She was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing.

Alice was a member of P.E.O., Philanthroplical Educational Organization, Chapter BC of Reading, garden clubs, book clubs, and an avid bridge player.

In addition to her husband Burton, Alice is survived by a son, Burton F., Jr., husband of Mimi Kominick, Exeter Twp., and two daughters; Millie T. (Kominick), wife of Roger Rochester, Vancouver, WA; and Diane L. (Kominick), wife of Harry E. Ouzoonian, Warwick, NY. Nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive her.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 14, 2018, at 2 p.m. in Atonement Lutheran Church, 5 Wyomissing Blvd, Wyomissing, PA 19610. A committal service will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Alice Kominick's name to Atonement Lutheran Church, at the above address.
