Obituary for Joseph Leonard Kaminski

J. Leonard Kaminski, 86, passed away January 11, 2018, at the residence of his nephew and niece in Exeter Twp. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Albrecht) Kaminski. Leonard was a bank auditor for Wells Fargo for many years. He was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

A gifted woodworker, Leonard enjoyed spending time at the cabin he built along the Schuylkill River, where he enjoyed the outdoors, including his favorite activity, boating.

He is survived by two siblings: Geraldine, wife of Ray Lenhart, Cumru Twp. and Natalie, widow of Clayton Einsel, Haddon Heights, NJ. Leonard is also survived by his nephew, Christopher, husband of Marilynn Lenhart, with whom he resided, and nieces Kimberly Hoechst (Christian), Deborah Bish (Gerald), Jennifer Roach (John), nephew Eric Einsel. Leonard was predeceased by his brother, Robert Kaminski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 20, 2018, at 10 a.m. at St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church Chapel 2427 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606 with entombment to follow at Gethsemane Mausoleum. A viewing will be held Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
