Obituary for Robert S. "Bob" Lefkowith

Robert S. "Bob" Lefkowith
Robert S. “Bob” Lefkowith, 72, passed away January 17, 2018, in his Spring Township residence.

He was the husband of Pam (Martin) Lefkowith. They married on July 13, 1969.

Bob was a 1963 graduate of Reading High School and Lycoming College earning a bachelors degree.

Bob spent his career working in Packaging Manufacturing and Sales. After college, Bob worked at Keystone Containers, which was his family’s business. From there, Bob purchased his own company, Parkway Paper Box, which he ran through 1994. Since 1994, Bob has been successfully self-employed selling Packaging Products.

Bob was a devoted family man and often travelled with his wife and kids. His annual trips to Captiva Island, FL with Pam were the highlight of his year. One of his most memorable vacations was his 3-week cross country Harley motorcycle trip with the Wild Hogs.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children: Lisa M. Lefkowith, partner of Beverly A. Lowrey, Glen Rock; Jared R. Lefkowith, fiancée of Heather Lawrence, Wyomissing; and Derek J., husband of Jennifer Lefkowith, Lakewood, CA. One brother, Don, husband of Karen Lefkowith, Ontario, Canada; and four grandchildren: Tyler Lefkowith, Mia Lefkowith, Annie Grace and Emily White also survive him.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
