Elton M. Rivera, 51, went to be with the Lord on February 24, 2018, at his mother's house with whom he resided.

Born in Reading, he is the son of Marie D. (Hamilton) Rivera, and the late Rafael Rivera who passed away April 18, 2017.

Elton was an avid Steelers fan. He also loved Nascar, The Three Stooges, and animals.

He is survived by two daughters: Cassandra Wentzel, and Megan Rivera, both of Philadelphia. Three brothers: Ralph, Miguel and Mark Rivera, and one sister Hope Kirlin also survive him.

Elton was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Rivera, February 18, 1959.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 12 noon, at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens. Friends may call one hour prior the service from 11 a.m. to 12 noon in the funeral home.
