Mary "Mae" (Barnes) Gehring, 93, formerly of West Reading, passed away on March 1, 2018, in Country Meadows.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Sarah (Wilkes) Barnes.

She is survived by one daughter, Mary Louise, wife of Peter Flahive, Phoenixville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Friday, March 9, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 740 Cherry St, West Reading, PA 19611. Interment will follow on Saturday, March 10, at 11:00 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 South Sproul Road, Springfield, PA 19064. Edward J.
