Mark S. Leek, 84, passed away May 13, 2018 at his Kenhorst home, with his wife and daughter by his side.

He was the loving husband of Mary Lou (Mason) Leek for 54 years.

Born July 6, 1933, in Absecon, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Stanley C. and Anna (Steelman) Leek.

Mark was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served from 1951 to 1955. He retired from the Parish Frame Division of Dana Corp. in 1991 with 27 years of service, after holding positions in both Sales and Production Scheduling at their former location at Robeson & Weiser Streets. He enjoyed cruises to the Caribbean, trips to the Hollywood Casino, watching the Eagles and the Phillies, and attending Fightin’ Phils games and taking road trips with his grandson.

Mark was a member of St John Baptist de la Salle Catholic Church in Shillington, and the former St Anthony of Padua Parish in Millmont. He was also a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, Council 739, Reading.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Mary Jo Newmoyer, West Lawn, and Julia Bunk, Doylestown. Two grandchildren, Mark Pennypacker and Stephanie Stofka, also survive him, along with three great-grandchildren, Julian, Liyana and Lincoln, and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Phyllis Damico, Jacqueline Potteiger, Stanley Leek, Barbara Geib and George Leek.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at 10 a.m., at St. John Baptist de la Salle R.C. Church, 420 Holland St., Shillington, PA 19607. Entombment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the church.
