Fernando "Tito" Palermo, 61, of Reading, passed away on June 8, 2018, at the Reading Hospital.

He was the beloved husband of Carol J. (Ehrgood) Palermo.

Born on July 27, 1956, he was the son of the late Jose and Sonia (Vega) Palermo.

He had a true passion for music. For most of his life, Fernando was a Latin percussionist who enjoyed playing the congas; he could find a beat on anything! He also enjoyed WWE wrestling and would never miss a match.

Fernando was one of the kindest men you'd ever meet. He never had a bad thing to say about anyone. He was a devoted husband, caring father, and loving brother and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children: Heidi E., Hope M., Joel J., Frederick Ferdinand, and Jordan Lee Palermo, all of Reading. He is also survived by five siblings: Rafaela Ramsaran and husband, Danny, Long Island, NY; Jose L. Palermo and wife, Connie, Allentown; Rosi Palermo, West Palm Beach, FL; Lorena M. Palermo, Temple, and David Palermo, Reading. Fernando is survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 5153 Kutztown Rd., Temple, PA 19560. A viewing will be held from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made in Fernando's name to Edward J.
