Eufemia S.  Guido
Eufemia S. "Coco" Guido, 82, formerly of Reading, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 in the Lutheran Home at Topton, PA.

She was the loving wife of Joseph C. Guido, who passed away on December 30, 2012. They were married May 6, 1964.

Born in Managua, Nicaragua, she was the daughter of the late Ramiro and Teresa M.
Uriza.

She was employed by Berkshire Knitting Mills, and later was a day care mother for BCIU retiring in 1994.

Coco was a member of Holy Guarding Angels Roman Catholic Church.

She was a loving wife and mother and a doting grandmother. Her amazing strength and grace will be immensly missed. A strong, selfless matriarch and always putting others first, she loved to cook for her family and support them in every way possible. She also enjoyed Sunday morning Polka music.

Coco is survived by her children, Gladys C. Guido Newport, wife of Darren A. Newport, Mooresville, NC; and Michael, husband of Sandra Guido, Cumru Twp. There are four grandchildren: Brandon E. Mayer, Connor J. Mayer, Christopher M. Guido, and Chloe E. Guido. Two or three siblings also survive her. Angela DeTrinadad, and Carlos Uriza

She was predeceased by three sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, 3121 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605 at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. A visitation will be held Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 15829 Arlington, VA 22215 or the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure,125 South 9th Street, Suite 202 Philadelphia, PA 19107. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
