Concetta M. “Connie” (Varone) Lombardo, 72, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away August 9, 2018, at Penn State Health St. Joseph.

She was the loving wife of Rodney G. Lombardo. They married on May 21, 1966.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Cirulli) Varone.

Connie was a homemaker who was dedicated to her family. She also worked as a baker for Salino's Importing, Reading and later as a cook for the Reading School District for 17 years until her retirement.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angles Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

Connie was a life-member of Victor Emmanuel II Ladies Auxiliary.

A warm, caring, selfless person, “Mom Mom” enjoyed cooking, baking, cleaning, shopping, speaking with her children every night and family gatherings in her home. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children: Jennifer A., wife of Andrew McClure, Clifton Park, NY; Stephanie M., wife of James Stoudt, Muhlenberg Township; and Albert M. husband of Jennifer Lombardo, Blandon. One brother, Franklin T., husband of Connie Varone, Wilmington, DE; and four grandchildren; Lauren McClure, Kayla Stoudt, Kylie Stoudt, and Antonio “AJ” Lombardo, also survive her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Guardian Angles R.C.C., 3121 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605 with burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
