Obituary for Glen Petersheim

Glen Anthony Petersheim, 85, of Fleetwood, went to be with his Lord, August 26, 2018 in the Reading Hospital.

He was the beloved husband of, Linda G. (Keenan) Petersheim, with whom he celebrated 25 years of marriage.

Born in Morgantown, he was the son of the late Anthony M., and Ann (Loar) Petersheim.

Glen was a United States Army veteran serving during the Korean War.

He was employed by Lindgren Chrysler as a auto mechanic for 38 years until retiring in 1993. He also worked for Reading Fertilizer as a driver, D’Ambrosia Dodge and Pep Boys.

Glen enjoyed racing and but most importantly he loved his family and his church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his four children, James Petersheim, Charles Petersheim, Brian Petersheim, and Cindy, wife of Albert Ash. He is also survived by his sister, Rachel Weidman, 7 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and was expecting one additonal grandchild.

Glen was predeceased by his daughter, Susan Graham, and six siblings, Oliver, Jonathan, Elizabeth Millisock, Luella Millisock, Kathryn Topper and Beulah Martin; and granddaughter, Tonia N. Ash.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 31, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. in the Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, 5153 Kutztown Rd., Temple, with burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Glen’s honor can be made to Zion Spies Evangelical Reform Church, 318 Spies Church Rd, Reading, PA 19606.
