Sharon L. (Schaeffer) Guistwite, 67, formerly of Laureldale, went to be in the arms of the Lord and Savior on October 14, 2018, at Laurel Center, Hamburg.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of Esther (Johnson) Schaeffer, Hamburg and the late Fred Schaeffer.

Sharon was a homemaker who was dedicated to her family; one of the best gifts she gave her sons was staying at home to raise them.

Her family and faith were always paramount to Sharon, she devoted her life to the Lord and doing his work.

She was a member of Grace Bible Fellowship Church, Reading.

She is survived by her two sons, Rodney C., Jr., husband of Dori Guistwite, Newark, DE; and Christopher L., husband of Jamie Guistwite, Kenhorst. Two siblings, George Schaeffer, Reading and Patricia Moyer, Hamburg; and four grandchildren, Tyler J. Guistwite, Devon L. Guistwite, Krista L. Guistwite and Kaydence G. Guistwite also survive her.

Sharon was predeceased by two grandsons, Christopher J. Guistwite and Mason S. Guistwite.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018, at 5 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
