Leslie Lewis "Les” Shomo, passed away November 15, 2018, in his Muhlenberg Twp. residence, at the age of 76.

His wife, Diane June (Hoover) Shomo, died on March 19, 2018.

Born in Hyde Park, he was a son of the late Robert Edward and Ida Loretta (Sweitzer) Shomo.

He worked in several local foundries last working at Empire Steel, Laureldale.

Les was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He enjoyed hunting and taking rides in the country especially Tioga County.

Les is survived by his son, Ryan; his brother, David; and three sisters-in-law, Joan Shomo, Sena Shomo and Edith Hoover.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Barry and Bobby Shomo.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 5153 Kutztown Rd., Temple, PA 19560 with burial to follow at Alsace Cemetery. A visitation will be Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Greater Berks Food Bank, 117 Morgan Dr, Reading, PA 19608.
