Obituary for Colleen M. Simons (McGovern)
Colleen M. (McGovern) Simons, 63, of Wyomissing, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 11, 2019, at Lankenau Medical Center, Wynnewood, PA. She was the daughter of the late Gerald and Ethel (Walsh) McGovern and the loving wife of Jeffrey S. Simons, Wyomissing.
Colleen was a political aide for many years. She is survived by her daughters: Brianna and Danielle, and will be dearly missed by her faithful, loving pets: Muffin, Teddy and Riley.
A Celebration of Colleen's life will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at 10:00am at Atonement Lutheran Church, 5 Wyomissing Blvd., Wyomissing, PA. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, 500 S. Sterley Street, Shillington, PA, followed by a luncheon at Brickstones Mighty Fine Food & Spirits, 901 Hill Avenue, Wyomissing, PA. Visitation with friends and family will be held Thursday, one hour prior to the Service, from 9-10am in the Church.
