Obituary for Clodoaldo A. Mistica

Clodoaldo A. Mistica, 82, passed away November 30, 2018, at ManorCare, Sinking Spring.

Born in Liliw, laguna, Philippines, he was the son of the late Attorney Santos Misticia and Remedios (Aventurado) Mistica.

He was an attorney of the Supreme Court in the Philippines before coming to the United States. He later worked as an investment banker and became vice president at Bankers Trust Bank in New York City.


Clodoaldo “Tito Claude” was a wonderful uncle to Sandra and Ron and great-uncle to Jason. He was a kind and generous man who loved to travel the world. You will be missed, but you are now at peace and at home.

He is survived by his sister, Beata Mistica Villanueva, Wyomissing, PA; his niece, Sandra M. Villanueva, wife of Ron Southwick; and his great-nephew, Jason Southwick, all of Stevens, PA.

Clodoaldo was predeceased by his sister, Amelita Mistica.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 8, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of St. George at Gethsemane Cemetery with entombment to follow. Friends may call Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.
