Obituary for Benjamin Franklin Schools

Benjamin Franklin Schools, 92, formerly of Denver, PA, passed away December 3, 2018, at Green Hills Manor.

He was the loving husband of Floretta L. (Kocevar) Schools. They married November 20, 1945.

Born, June 9, 1926, in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Francis R. and Elizabeth A. (Conlin) Schools.

He attended Shillington High School.

Benjamin was employed by Met-Ed as a line supervisor for 39 years.

He was a member of St. Benedict’s Roman Catholic Church.

Benjamin was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus.

A devout Catholic, he volunteer at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church and was actively involved in the remodeling of the chapel.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, William H., husband of Treesa L. (Peters) Schools, Denver; his sister, Clarabelle, widow of Robert Fosnocht, Kenhorst; three grandchildren, Zachary, husband of Jennifer, Joshua and Eve; and two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Mason.

He was predeceased by his sister, Doris Juska.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at St Benedict’s Roman Catholic Church, 2020 Chestnut Hill Rd, Mohnton, PA 19540 with burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Benedict’s R.C. Church at the above address. Edward J.
