Memories of Buddy

I met the Johnson family in 1960 when we moved to Lock Haven.  Buddy and his family lived on a pony farm outside of Lock Haven.  I have fond memories of that time  I still can picture Bud and his brother Steve cantering their ponies across the fields.

When Bud became an Aircraft Controller at Reading Airport I liked to take my flying students (I was a flight instructor) to meet Bud and get a first class tour of the control tower.  It was an enlightening experience for students and left them in awe.  I always learned something from Bud .  Bud was  so accomodating and made us feel welcome, it was such a priviledge to experience his hospitality and friendship.

My condolences to Bud's family, I am so sorry for your loss.

Sincerely,

Mary
