Veronica C. Green
Veronica C. (Schlatman) Green, 100, passed away August 14, 2016, in her Brecknock Township residence.

She was the widow of Frederick S. Green. They were married on September 9, 1940.

Born in Stratford, ON, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (McSherry) Schlatman.

Veronica was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

In her early years, she helped build Lancaster Bombers used by the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. She later worked as an Orthodontic Assistant for Dr. John Isaacson in Bedford, PA.

Veronica was a past grand regent of the Catholic Daughters of America and advised the Junior Catholic Daughters at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Bedford.

She was a Brownie and Girls Scout Leader. Veronica also enjoyed traveling to Ireland; watching golf tournaments and the Kentucky Derby.

Her family and faith were most important to her; she enjoyed being a loving and caring wife, mum and grammy. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by four children: Marilyn E., wife of Wayne Tice, Tottenham, Ontario, Canada; Frances V., widow of Theodore Clites, York, PA; Angela L., wife of Thomas L.
