Condolence: My condolences to Jon, Karen and Becky,
I will always remember your Dad as a pleasant and earnest man who had a most memorable war souvenir. What a wonderful time was our childhood
on Beechwood Drive. Was it not a true slice of Americana 1950?

Condolence From: Ken Haney
Condolence: I was privileged to know Mr. Malsnee for about 30 years. Our friendship began when I wrote to him and explained that I was a former Marine, and I was doing research about books that I planned to write, about the Marine Paratroopers of World War II. He was very helpful to my in my research, and even came to my home once during a trip, to visit. I mentioned him several times in my book "Hold the Line" about the Koiari Raid on Bougainville. He also agreed to autograph some cards and photos for me, with the understanding that I would sell them on ebay and then I would make donations in his name to the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund. As another example of what kind of a person he was, when I was in Afghanistan in 2010 doing a job with the US Army in the war there, Bruce mailed me a package for Christmas, which was very thoughtful. He was a fine man and a fine Marine.

Condolence: To Jon and all of Bruce's family
My deepest sympathies to ya'll on hearing the news of your dad's passing.
Although I live in Georgia, I had maintained contact with Bruce. Bruce was
quite the man as reflected by the words written in his obituary. I thoroughly
enjoyed his friendship over the years. I especially have good memories of
the Y outings and times spent during and after sessions at the Y.
He exemplified what it meant to be a member of the 'Greatest Generation'.
