Condolences

Condolence From: Harriet Hiras
Condolence: The day God called you home

God looked around his garden
And he found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this earth,
And saw your tired face.

He put his arm around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
he always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.

He saw that the road was getting rough.
And the hills are hard to climb,
So he close your wary eyelids
And whispered "Peace be Thine".

It broke our hearts to lose you
but you didn't go alone
For part of us went with you
The day that God called you home

Condolence From: Todd Straub
Condolence: Someone so special can never be forgotten.
John was an incredible friend and co-worker. I have known John (Koutch as we called him) for many years. He was the most patient person I have ever met, even with the most difficult people. He always took time to thank folks for just the little things that normally people would not thank others for. He was truly one of the great people that had an ability to leave a positive and lasting impression. Throughout his treatment, his computer customers would call the office just to find out how he was doing and wish him well. He was so very positive and strong and would rarely show his frustration and break down when he would visit us to just talk. I will miss those visits.
I have learned so much from John over the years of working with him. He taught me patience, that I only have a fraction of. He taught me to care for others and treat them as your own father, mother, brother, son and daughters, as he did for many of us over the years. He taught me that a smile and warm discussion can defuse an upset customer with a silly computer problem, which he normally fixed within minutes. I have recently learned that I will miss his smile and warm hug.
We symbolic never replaced John’s place in our company. We left his desk unmanned and his computer sitting there and always hoped he would returned. I prayed for him weekly and hope that those prays would pave the way for him to come back to us. He will always have a place in my heart and will be missed.
I sure hope God has a cubical with his name on it and computers and gadgets to keep John happy.

With Love and Sorrow,

Todd

Condolence: John K was one of my favorite people in this world. I can't remember a time I didn't look forward to seeing him...or a time I didn't feel happier when he was around. I met him when I was 15 years old. He was doing freelance IT work for Bills Khakis. We had some fun times together...I wish there were more. He knew what was important in life and imparted that virtue on me. When I think of John, I think of words like friend, genuine, trustworthy, confidant, joy, compassion, etc... I can honestly say I am a better person for having you in my life. I can't believe your gone. You can trust that your spirit with live on within me and all of those who had the privilege of knowing you.
Bless your soul John.
Lots of love,
Johnny

Condolence: Thea, Lisa, and John’s wife and children: I was very saddened to hear of John’s passing. Although I have not seen John since forever, or had a good conversation with him since we graduated from high school and went our separate ways, I will always have many fond memories of our time growing up in Bill-town. All the time we spent doing stupid teenage things, like us two along with Lisa and Irene pretending we were a rock band, playing air guitar to “Smoke on the Water”, all the silly dreams we told each other, the fun times we shared at the old Mountain Top Diner, with Papou and Giagia… I wish we could have kept in touch, but it’s hard to believe it has been over 40 years since then. You’ve always been in the back of my mind; I gotta figure out how to get in touch with John. We will meet again soon, and maybe get the band back together.

Condolence: To John's family: We did not personally know John, but through our friendship with Vassillia we all felt we knew him. She always spoke of such love for her brother and his family.
The tide recedes but leaves behind
bright seashells on the sand.
The sun goes down, but gentle
warmth still lingers on the land.
The music stops, and yet it echoes
on in sweet refrains…..
For every joy that passes,
something beautiful remains.

Condolence: Suzanne, many years ago, in a similar situation, I heard "now you can pray to him instead of for him". I thought about that a while and what it meant. It helped. Please
know that you and the family are in our prayers.
