Margaret Evans Werner, 76, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of Neil O. Werner, who she married April 25, 1977.

Born in Manoa, PA, she was the daughter of the late George R. and Catherine (Hoffman) Evans.

Margaret was a 1959 graduate of Wyomissing High School.

She was employed as the secretary to the Principal of Wilson Central Jr. High School for 29 years.

Margaret was a good mother and wife. She enjoyed quilting, playing tennis and golf, and went on many cruises.

In addition to her husband, Margaret is survived by two children: James G., husband of Vanessa McAndrew, Muhlenberg Twp.; and Catherine A., wife of Richard Smith, Hampton, VA. Two brothers: George Evans, Jr., and Stephen Evans, and one sister, Patricia Brunner also survive her.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading is in charge of arrangements.
